As members of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) and Construction and Demolition Recycling Association (CDRA) we know the importance of diverting construction materials from the landfill, using recyclable building materials and conserving our natural resources. It was our passion, dedication and commitment to the environment for us to open North Texas’ first Single Stream Construction Recycling Facility (MRF). Our facility allows all contractors to commingle or single stream all building materials into one container which means NO MORE SOURCE SEPARATION OF MATERIAL!


LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, changes the way we think about how buildings and communities are planned, designed, maintained and operated. Projects earn points across several areas that address sustainability issues and depending on the points achieved will receive one of the four levels of LEED certification: Certified, Silver, Gold, Platinum. LEED certified buildings are resource efficient and use less water and reduce greenhouse gas emissions which saves money.

Our LEED Green Associates will work with you from the very beginning of your project to design, implement and maintain the diversion and recycling of all building materials onsite. We provide waste diversion reports that break out each load based on weight, type of material, and percentage of material diverted. Our reports can be provided on a weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual basis to assist with the documentation required for LEED.


Our system works automation and manual separation. Incoming C&D materials are tipped onto the tipping floor area and then graded by commodity and percentage. Materials are introduced into the sorting system through a metering conveyor which feed the Primary Synchro-Coil Finger Screen which will separate the material into two (2) product streams based on size. Our A Line “Overs” material passes on top of the finger deck and represent the 6.5” plus material that will continue up to the A Line for our sorters to positive pick the material and place it in their designated bunkers. Materials that will be recycled during this process will be placed into the designated bunkers.

Our B Line “Unders” represent the nominal minus 6.5” material passing through the finger decks. The unders discharge from the primary screen and transfer at a 90 degree point up to a self cleaning electro magnetic separator. This magnet separates ferrous from the non ferrous material and places the material into a separate bunker area. The material will continue along another transfer point conveyor and introduce the material into our secondary screening process. Our secondary screen will then screen out material 2” and smaller. The “Unders” product travel to a head pulley magnet removing metals 2” and smaller before passing over our final screening process of ⅜” creating a final soil amendment product. The “Overs” travel back into the system for further sorting and reduction through our De-Stoner. The “Overs” from our secondary screening travel down our B Line for additional processing of material. Materials that are recycled during this process our Wood, Plastics, Aluminum, Cardboard, Metal and Paper.

Materials then reach our Dual Knife-De-Stoner which separates the remaining materials by air separation. The materials travel through the De-Stoner and heavy material will drop as the light material blows off the top deck into another compactor unit for further processing. Additional sort personnel are positioned on this line to ensure quality control of the aggregate material returning back through the system into a separate bunker.
